Jiří Laštovička

Originative work versus design, creativity versus practicality, originality versus mass production, decor versus shape. The exposition of a designer Jiří Laštovička proves that it can all be combined within the creation of a single artist. He exhibits his collection of tea pots inspired by the Asian zodiac and confronts it with the clean shapes of selected pots which he designed for domestic producers of commercial porcelain in recent decades.
