SMEK – SURFACE DESIGN – Jiří Procházka

A designer and decorator, Jiří Procházka, acting as SMEK, creates decorative originative works for the interior and exterior. He specializes mainly in design skim coats and surface finishing. You can find his work not only in private interior and public spaces, but also for example in a luxurious tropical resort on the island of Zanzibar. A distinctive feature of his work is the use of relief ornamental and geometrical elements combined with natural drawings of stone. His work includes using metallic effects which can resemble golden, copper or rusted surface appearance. He transforms these decorative surfaces not only to walls but even to furniture or interior accessories.
