Střední umělecká škola, Ostrava, příspěvková organizace  is a specialist arts college. Curriculum of all the branches taught at school is primarily focused on visual and product design. School has systematically been building its image thanks to the quality of its students and graduates. Many of them have proved their exceptional qualities – among others – by winning prizes and awards at various competitions and exhibitions of young art. School graduates are also successful at university entrance exams and further studies, presenting their art works at numerous Czech and foreign prestigious art galleries before even graduating from their universities. School is run by Moravian-Silesian regional council.
